After many years coming to this beautiful corner of Bali, we opened Life in Amed Beach Hotel back when the main road was rocky and there was no electricity, phone lines or internet. Still today, coming to Amed is like stepping back in time compared to the hustle and bustle of tourist areas like Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu and central Ubud. Our grounds were merely sandy soil full of crab holes, which have now been transformed into a vibrant garden with scented Sandat and Gardenia bushes, as well as Jepun and Cempaka trees which we now use for our daily offerings.
